Hi, and thanks for visiting. Sinistral is a trio collective based in Shepherdstown, WV, near Washington, DC. As a trio, we play straight-ahead jazz, and we each have independent projects in other genres. We are Matt Lewis on bass, Bob Strain on piano, and Danny Tait on drums. All of us are left-handed, hence the group name. Matt is an Arsenal fan, Danny is an expert mixologist, and Bob has a dog named Bayou.
